Ingredients
 
 

For the Chicken:
  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast (halved lengthwise & pounded evenly)
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tbsp clarified butter or cooking oil
For the Alfredo Sauce:
  • 2 tbsp fresh garlic finely minced
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup unsweetened heavy whipping cream
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • For the Garlic Butter Compound:
  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 tbsp fresh garlic finely minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley finely chopped
  • Salt to taste
To Assemble:
  • 1 loaf Italian bread
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

Prep & Cook the Chicken
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Pat dry the chicken breasts and season both sides generously with salt, smoked paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and onion powder.
  3. Heat clarified butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Sear the chicken for 4–5 minutes per side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Remove from the pan, let it rest for a few minutes, then slice thinly and set aside.
Make the Alfredo Sauce
  1. In a saucepan, melt 2 tbsp butter over medium-low heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  3. Pour in the heavy whipping cream and bring it to a gentle boil.
  4. Slowly whisk in the Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce begins to thicken.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  6. Simmer on low heat until thick and creamy. Set aside.
Mix the Garlic Butter Compound
  1. In a small bowl, combine:
    – Softened butter
    – Minced garlic
    – Chopped parsley
    – A pinch of salt
  2. Mix well until smooth and fully combined.
Assemble the Garlic Bread
  1. Slice the Italian bread in half lengthwise.
  2. Spread 2–3 tablespoons of the garlic butter compound on each half.
  3. Spoon a layer of Alfredo sauce over the bread.
  4. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  5. Layer with sliced chicken, and drizzle a bit more Alfredo sauce on top.
  6. Optional: add a sprinkle of chopped parsley for color and flavor.
Bake & Serve
  1. Place the prepared bread halves on a baking sheet.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, or until the bread is crispy and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  3. Serve warm, optionally with extra Alfredo sauce on the side.
